The institution offers a comprehensive academic framework that integrates Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral programmes, creating a cohesive ecosystem of learning, research, and innovation.

At the Undergraduate level, we offer:

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) - 5 years
Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan) - 4 years
Bachelor of Design in Interior Design (B.Des) - 4 years

At the Postgraduate level, we offer:

Master of Architecture (M.Arch) in Habitat Design - 2 years

In addition, we offer a Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.) in Architecture, fostering advanced research and scholarly contributions to the discipline.

Our programmes provide both national and international platforms for students to learn, perform, and excel. We emphasize the development of strong professional ethics and core values that enable students to contribute meaningfully to society and shape environments that are sustainable, inclusive, and inspiring.

News

Third-year B.Arch students Annam Nimra and Shalvika Halli from BMS College of Architecture, Design and Planning (BMSCA D&P) secured the Second Runner-Up position at the Archumen 2026 – Southern Interface, India’s largest architecture quiz organised by Ethos Empowers and held at BMSCA D&P.

Dr. Shivakumara S U, Librarian, was awarded the Best Paper Award at the international conference “Readers are Leaders”, organised by the Karnataka State Library Association.

Ar. Sindhushree R Prasad, Assistant Professor, was awarded the Best Paper Award at the International Conference SHAPE-2026, organised by Council of Architecture in association with Chitkara University. The conference was held at the Chitkara University campus in Punjab.

A team of architecture students from BMS College of Architecture, Design and Planning (BMSCA D&P) received a Special Mention at the Bharat Nav-Nirmaan Challenge, presented by The Times of India and NICMAR University, after representing the college at the City Finale among 20 competing teams.

BMSCA D&P proudly announces that Abhinav Prakash Karennavar has been recognised among the Top 50 globally in the Tamayouz International Architecture Graduation Projects Award 2025, selected from 949 entries across 47 countries. Supervised by Dr. Mamata P. Raj, Dr. Tanuja KC, and Yashaswini Sharma, this achievement highlights the institution’s excellence in architectural education.

We proudly announce that our M.Arch Habitat Design student Vadiraj Chandrakant Kulkarni has secured the VTU Gold Medal.
