According to the regulation of the Council of Architecture (Minimum Standard of Architectural Education, Regulations 2020):
I. No Candidates shall be admitted to architecture course unless he/she passed an examination at the end of the 10 + 2 scheme (i.e., 12th Std or II-PUC) of examination, with a minimum eligibility score of at least 45%. Aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics also at least passed with a minimum score of 45% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50 % Marks in the aggregate.
II. Also, in either of the above cases in I, the candidate must have appeared and qualified in the aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA-(i.e., JEE) or โNATAโ conducted by the Council of Architecture.
III. Candidate must satisfy the eligibility criteria I & II to be eligible for admission to the 1st year of the 5-year bachelorโs degree in Architecture Program for the academic session.

Eligibility for admission to B Plan Course shall be open to the students who have passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Examination and secured a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with Physics / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer science / Information Technology / Technical Vocational Subjects / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.
In case of SC, ST and OBC candidates, the minimum aggregate percentage shall be 40%. Candidates from Diploma streams shall not be entitled to any exemption of any subject at the B Plan degree course, hence there is no provisions for lateral entry to the course.

Admission to the first year of the course shall be open to the students, who have passed the two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Karnataka State Pre University Board (PUC)/C.B.S.E / ISC/NIOS/IGCSE/IB/ Boards of other Indian States with any combination of subjects (such as conventional Arts/ Commerce/Science).
The three-year Diploma in any branch as recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education shall also be eligible for admission.
The students who have done a D.Voc program in the same or allied sector are also eligible to take admission. However, these candidates should have obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate.
In case of Karnataka SC, ST, and OBC candidates, the minimum aggregate percentage shall be 40%.
